Struggling singer Yung Mulo recently claimed to be the pioneer of dancehall music in Uganda. While appearing on NTV the Beat, Mulo shocked the host of the show Douglas Lwanga after he said that he is the pioneer of the dancehall music.
The Tebansobola hit maker revealed that he started the game of dancehall music indicating that he is a true dancehall artiste since others normally fuse dancehall with Afro, Ragga and Reggae.
“I was once nominated in the dancehall category with artistes like Bobi Wine, Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool and I managed to beat them all,” said Mulo.
He added that he has now advanced musically from being called Yung Mulo to Lubega Mulo and promised to stage a solo music concert when he makes 10 years in the music industry.
Mulo concluded saying that at the moment he respects only A Pass and Peter Miles as the true dancehall artistes in Uganda.
