Female rapper Keko, who has not released a chart-topping song in a very long time, has hit at fellow musician Eddy Kenzo.
In a recent interview, Keko openly expressed her discomfort with Kenzo’s recent rise to fame. When asked what she thought about East Africa’s first BET award winner, Keko was quick to say she doesn’t relate with the nature of the question because it doesn’t make sense according to her.
Keko said, “I dont know of any award presented backstage. I have a Channel O award and with that I relate well. It was awarded to me on stage and openly. I am bigger than Eddy Kenzo.”
The female rapper, however, retracted her statement in a subsequent interview.
Meanwhile, the rapper continues to fight with Sony Music, a label she was signed to 5 years ago as she begs to be released her from her contract.
