Alex Muhangi spearheads comedians’ COVID 19 song, piles praise for medics

Alex Muhangi has cordinated all comedians to produce and release a COVID 19 awareness song that according to sources will be released this week. The song brought together some of the prominent comedians in the industry contrary yo what they are most known for, comedy.

The comedy all star song featured comedians Patrico Mujuuka, Alex Muhangi, Nilo Nilo, Bobi Brown, Reign, Godi Godi, Zolo, Arnold Bubinyo, Teacher Mpamire, Richard (Amosii) and Bugingo Hannington.

Alex Muhangi created the beat and Co-Produced the Song with Artin Pro. Individual comedians then added individual voices to the beat. The comedians have praised the the medics for effort made to save lives.

Ugandan songstress Yvonne Starr predicts that the Coronavirus pandemic will end on 29th May.

Uganda is currently on lockdown for the next two weeks to avoid the spread of COVID-19. The directive was communicated by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday evening.

There is uncertainty on whether the pandemic shall have ended after the two weeks that have been gazetted. Several countries across the globe are still suffering with COVID-19 with scores infected and others dead.

Ugandan songstress Mulugi Yvonne a.k.a Yvonne Starr a.k.a Queen Vee believes that on May 29th, there will be no more cases of COVID-19. According to the Direction singer, a look into the future shows that on 29th May 2020, COVID-19 will be history.

Talent Africa opens TAG STUDIOS, launches TAG TV

Talent Africa recently opened TAG Studios, their brand new state of the art studio premises located at Plot 1 Hill Drive in Kololo. The high tech establishment includes an audio studio, green screen video studio, editing suite, live music production, music school, live streaming and broadcast services. 

TAG Studios is keeping busy during the COVID-19 lockdown as they have started their own online live show called “TAG TV”. TAG TV promises to bring top notch digital content straight to your phone, tablet, laptop, computer and smart TV. Due to the current coronavirus prevention lockdown there is a huge demand for quality digital content as people are at home and looking for ways to be  entertained. The live show is hosted by comedian Salvador, Kella McKenzie and Selector J as the resident DJ. The weekly show features live acoustic music sessions, comedy segments and exclusive celebrity interviews shot at Talent Africa’s stunning rooftop set and indoor green screen studio. The show also features Coronavirus prevention awareness messaging and videos which feature throughout the program in partnership with the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday on the live show TAG Studios released the “Ain’t Safe Cypher”.  A coronavirus awareness prevention project featuring different urban artists including Recho Ray, Beenie Gunter, Play01, Ruyonga, Martha Smallz, Byg Ben Sukuya, St Nelly Sade and Maritza. The song was produced and engineered by award winning hip hop producer Sam Lamara. 

In line with COVID-19, Talent Africa has also been working on the #StaySafeUG and #CoronaFreeUG awareness campaign with the Ministry of Health where they have been creating a series of informative and informational videos featuring top Ugandan celebrities like Martha Kay, Salvado, Beenie Gunter, Miss Uganda 2019 Olivia Nakakande, Miss Uganda 2012 Phiona Bizou, Mad Rat & Chico and others.

Bakabulindi Steven aka Remy Soda is a Ugandan singer/Song writer/Performing Artist.Remy soda was born on 15th /January/1993 making him 26yrs old.

He hails from a family of 9 members , 8 grown children and our mummy, he is the last born but unfortunately his father passed away in 1997 by then he was 4yrs old.

Remy Soda started doing music long time back when he was still in his primary level that in 2005., However ,He officially decided to join the Ugandan music industry in 2018,

He has been under ground, but he has learnt his voice and talent to sensitize the population about Corona and in so doing his voice and face have been sold judging from the positive response his song has received so far.
