Six time league champions Express Football Club have hit the gym to boost their physical fitness ahead of the new season that kicks in almost a week’s time.
The Wankulukuku based lads hit HBT gym yesterday and will have another session on Friday. According to the club’s training schedule, the team will be having gym drills on Wednesdays and Fridays until the new season starts.
The Red Eagles were second league runners up with 53points, just four behind the eventual champions KCCA FC in the previous campaign and will now be eyeing for glory.
With all the administrative changes that saw Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi take on the club’s mantel as the new chairperson, new Vice Chairman/Administration Hajji Kamdas, H.E Bobi Wine as the Brand Manage among all other technical changes, surely there will be no room for error.
The league starts on Friday August 19th but with an earlier curtain raiser scheduled for Sunday 14th at Wankulukuku between league champions KCCA FC and Uganda Cup winners Vipers in the FUFA Super Cup.
