Singer Eddy Kenzo could be in trouble after failing to show up at a show UK promoters claim he was paid to attend.
According to our sources, London-based Grajoh Talent Management and Public Relations Ltd booked and paid the Mbilo Mbilo singer to grace the AfrikaFest but the singer did not show up. The events company has threatened to sue the singer to seek compensation for massive loses suffered.
Eddy Kenzo who was at the time in the States has since not issued any statement as to why he did not show up despite half the crowd turning up just to set eyes on the new African kid on the block.
However, our other sources say the singer was never paid to attend event.
“It was a mutual agreement that he would show up to help a fellow countryman make something in a foreign country and besides he once managed his overseas events so it was a favour Johnson wanted in return,” our sources said.
