Musician Fille Mutoni has warned music promoters and event organizers in the diaspora to stop trying to book her via social media.

The singer claims that many conmen and impersonators are using social media platforms, mostly Facebook, to dupe unsuspecting promoters.

Fille noted out a one Abu-Dhabi based promoter who merely survived these con men after someone claimed to be her Ugandan manager on facebook and went on to print a fake receipt as evidence of payment.

“So many impersonators on Social media, below is one of them who has gone an extra mile of booking shows and receiving payments from Dubai in my name,” she said, sharing a picture of the fake receipt.

Fille further said that she only has one Facebook page and doesn’t have any idea about any of the Facebook accounts which use her pictures and names.

We will keep you posted.
