Isn’t it a coincidence that a few months back Desire Luzinda organized a concert whose proceeds were to go to charity? Is it not surprising that now we have the Desire Challenge aka #DESIREchallenge, the Ugandan equivalent of the Ice Bucket Challenge.

The only difference is that proceeds from the #DESIREchallenge go to the following;
1. Miss Uganda Foundation
2. FDC Party
3. To all support the procurement of fake body parts to help girls that don’t have the same features like those of Desire Luzinda.

The #DESIREchallenge has seen Bobi Wine already take part. It involves taking a photo with an inverted V-sign by one’s genital area.

The challenge comes in levels and the top level is where one goes completely nude to showcase what they have while using the other arm to cover the chest-nipple area.

BigEye.ug brings you a collection from the #DESIREchallenge whose patron is SEYA.

It is an endless party mode for ‘Power couple’, Sheila Gashumba, and boyfriend God’s Plan after banging a tremendous victory over their tormentors this week.

The sleepless nights that the two love birds had as they fought for justice after facing harassment through the media have paid-off heavily, and now it’s time to celebrate.

Sheila Gashumba and boyfriend Gods Plan

This follows their longtime critic, who also doubled as a TV host on Urban TV, Tina Fierce’s had her show ‘Scoop on Scoop’ banned by the Uganda Communications Commission after its content was deemed offensive and scandalous.

UCC statement
Tina Fierce

Sheila’s swag is now lit and its clearly evident from one of her latest social media posts as she recalls how media personalities had forced public figures into frustration and uncomfortable lives.

For so many years, Some tv shows and blogs had made it their daily breed to wake up and broadcast false stories, abuse, insult, and demean different public figures in Uganda, some of them had to grow a tough skin, some failed to be strong, some gave up with their careers etc,” wrote Sheila.

However, its still such an unpredictable time as UCC progresses with its investigations in this case. We will keep you posted. But for now it is party time.

Among those who reacted are Ugandan musicians in the Diaspora headed by Revboy who came out and expressed their disappointment in the association and they urged the new President to perform better this time around

According to Revboy, artists in the Diaspora are often neglected and are treated as they are not Ugandans a thing he wants to change during the term of the new President.

“We are also Ugandans we do music and we want to earn from it like other artists at home, but it bothers us that we are often forgotten, we need the new President to care about us, they should work on the copyright law to see that we can also earn from our music, we invest alot in our music, we need the new president to correct the mistakes of the previous one” Revboy said while appearing on BBS TV
