Kitaka Rogers alias deejay Roja and Kavuma Stuart also known as Slick Stuart had their 3rd anniversary of the Mix Tape party which happened down yesterday at Laftaz poolside.
The duo which started their journey at Club Venom in their first edition and went to Laftaz poolside for the second edition and the third edition which was dubbed Beach in the city saw various deejays who have been through the hands of the deejay entertain the guests as the main celebrants were getting ready.
At around midnight the duo got on stage putting on blue suits as the MC of the night Daggy Nyc introduced them to the crowd and yes the crowd did give them a good reception, as they were applauding them and shouting their names, when they got on the decks they didn’t disappoint them also as they played back to back starting with the songs from the 90’s, then followed the reggae songs, and came back home playing the local music
As the night was getting cold the deejays played soothing love songs from Lionel Richie, Cellidion and this just kept the crowd screaming the deejays names. “We are on it for the fourth time, because these boys are good and indeed they are Uganda’s best deejays” said one of the revelers.
Everything was spiced as one of Uganda’s best artist Bebe Cool came on stage at around 2pm singing alongside the deejays. At 3pm the deejays were still playing but it had to come to an end and the revelers still wanted more of them. See photos here
