On Wednesday morning during the weekly press conference at FUFA house in Mengo, Kampala, Uganda Cranes Coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojovic released a 21-man squad that will soon be starting preparations for two international fixtures.
Among those named and very new in the squad is Werder Bremen striker Lorenzo Melyvn and Rayon Sport’s sensational forward Davis Kasirye.
Uganda Cranes are scheduled to play an international friendly against Zimbabwe in Harare on May 31st before facing off with Botswana in the return league of the 2017 AFCON qualifiers slated for June 4th away.
Two players from the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) have been summoned to the national team and that’s none other than left back Joseph Ochaya from KCCA FC and Vipers’ striker Erisa Ssekisambu. Proline’s Edris Lubega was summoned from the FUFA Big League.
