1. Leo Ni Leo is doing good, who writes your songs? And how do you come up with those dance strokes?
I write my own lyrics. About the dance strokes, I have always been a dancer. I started dancing in my elementary school. Actually I could have been a dancer if I were not a musician.
2. In a past interview you said you do martial arts, is that true? How come we’ve not seen you in any fights?
I do that just to keep fit. I don’t intend to take it to a professional level and that’s why I have not featured in fights.
3. What’s the one big secret that many people don’t know about you?
I have quite a number but since it’s a secret I will remain with it. I prefer not to disclose.
4. Speaking of love, tell us about her… Who’s the lucky woman?
Haha… Of course I am a man and at a certain stage it’s important you get a woman by your side. I am not married though.
5. Rumour has it that you built a chain of rentals along Entebbe road, how true is that?
No, that is not true, I have no rentals in Entebbe. But I have so many businesses in the area. (He declines to disclose a few but promises to keep us updated)
6. 5 years from now, where do you see Coco Finger the music artiste?
I see Coco Finger with more songs of course. We have our strategies set already. For example I am launching my website soon. I have more songs coming your way too. I have songs I did in London with two Jamaican artistes and I will release them soon, many such projects are still flocking in.
7. Who’s that female Ugandan artiste that you would like to do a collabo with and even have a crush on?
I honestly like would like an artiste who is doing the same style of music I do. And in that regard I find Cindy a perfect answer to this question. She is the female version of me. There are so many other artistes with a great style and would work with too but since you asked for one I will go with Cindy.
8. Your top 5 Ugandan musicians? Which of them inspires you the most?
I would not say I have any particular top 5 artistes. I hear a new good song every day. I don’t want to say I have any particular top artistes.
9. Would you punch a journalist in public?
People react differently under different situations. At the moment no.
10. Tell us about your current music projects… What should the fans expect?
I have two collabos coming soon. I did them while I was in London. One is by a Jamaican artiste I will disclose when they are out. I have a new video for my song Stallion coming up soon, it’s in its final editing stages. I have a lot cooking. I am also nurturing talent within my camp. I have very many talented young artistes yet to unveil. I want to ask all young talented people out there that am promoting young talent.
