Chris Brown has revealed the release date of his upcoming sixth album.
Brown took to Twitter to announce the news, accompanied with a black and white image of himself over a red X.
“X is by far my best album yet…. Setting the date for MAY 5,” he wrote.
Brown’s last record Fortune was released in June 2012, featuring ‘Turn Up the Music’ as his lead single.
It has been rumoured that Brown will collaborate with Ariana Grande, although it’s not clear whether the track will appear on his album.
Last year, the 24-year-old completed his court-ordered 90-day rehab stay, but he was ordered to return to treatment for drug abuse and anger management.
