Time heals all wounds, so goes the old adage. But one thing it does not heal are the memories left behind. Chameleone’s wounds may have healed but he certainly has not forgotten about the infamous Arusha accident.

In 2008, Chameleone was reported to have sustained severe injuries after he fell through the window of his room on the third floor of Impala Hotel, a five-star hotel in Arusha. The singer claimed that he had entered his hotel room after his music show, changed clothes and slept but was shocked to later find himself on the first floor surrounded by people.

The accident was attributed to sleep walking—a sleep disorder, however, some people still allege the singer could have been intoxicated.

Six years on, the ‘Badillisha’ singer seems to still be haunted by the memories. He talks about the accident like its so fresh in his mind. Chameleone recollected the memories in a post that read:

“Today morning begun just like the 4th of October 2008 did, the similarity is I am called by my Arusha Fans to grace Miss Kilimanjaro beauty contest. My last time in Arusha was tragic and a big challenge but I happily accepted Gods plans for me!”
