Musician Dr. Jose Chameleone has over the years mentored several artistes including King Saha, Radio and Weasel, Papa Cidy among others that left his Leone Island music empire and made it as standalone artistes.
The singer is now busy mentoring fresh talent in the names of Allan Buyinza aka Genius Levy. Levy is a rising star under Leone Island Music Empire. He is 22 years of age and went to St. Peters Nsambya and Lubiri for High School. The young singer is currently at Makerere University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Psychology.
“I came to stardom in 2012 when I won the Hi Skool Kadanke competitions under the category of best rap artiste. Chameleone joined me on stage and gave me a galaxy tab worth 2.5M. At the start of 2016 I decided to officially join music with my first jam known as Bubble gyal ah whine at Leone Island,” he says.
Levy has gone on to release tracks such as Gwampunza, Mulembe Mupya and Dopest gyal produced by renowned producer Kayz. “I have one video so far for Bubble Gyal ah whine and shooting the others pretty soon. I have featured on mega shows such as Hi Skool Kadanke, Chameleone Concerts, Purple party, Kampala Street Jam among others.”
We hope this young Leone Island star rises to the very top one day.
