A nasty accident on Mbarara highway has claimed two lives and others rushed to Mulago Hospital.
Resty, a reporter from NTV and Miss Tourism Northern Uganda Atim Norah died on the spot as the Prado they were travelling in rolled off the road and crashed in the swamp as it tried to overtake.
The car had Najemba Rehema, Barbie Nakiwolo, Ivan Ssebuuma (photographer), a cameraman from NTV. The driver jumped out of the car.
The car occupants were rushed to Mulago Hospital in a critical condition but upon reaching, Miss Tourism Buganda-Barbra passed on, too.
The team had traveled to cover the regional Miss Tourism event. May the deceased rest in peace and quick recovery to the injured.
