With the year 2015 still left with many months, another Ugandan music artiste has passed on. Lumix, a Ugandan rapper and one of the established emcees from Northern Ugandan has died. According to friends, Lumix had been hospitalized for some weeks.
In 2011, Lumix was crowned the Northern Artiste of the Year at the PAM Awards. Caesar Lubanga-Kene eulogizes him; “I remember that night we all used a Taxi from the venue UMA show ground to Ntinda to celebrate his sweet victory against big names like Bosmic Otim at his Valley Curve Recording Studios.
One Very Humble Guy Despite Success I have always known is Lumix. He freely interacted with any one who paid him a courtesy visit at his Studios he built from scratch and recorded for many up coming artists and worked with many musicians from GNL Zamba to many from the North… May his Soul Forever rest in Eternal Peace. His tunes now churning in my mind with a lot Pain “Lets Make History–You and Me…..” Life is so Short Folks. Our sincere hearts and Prayer to his family, friends and fans.”
At BigEye.ug, we send our condolences to his family and friends and pray that they get comforted in this trying period.
