Following the exit of MunG from Baboon Forest, the management has gone back to the drawing board to discuss the future of the label. This has seen significant decisions being made including appointment of a new CEO. The big announcement was made early this morning.
The statement read:
Baboon Forest is an idea groomed and supported by the people, being part of peoples’ dreams is what we do best. We are the platform in the sea so talents don’t drown in the industry storm.

The great news on the other side is that Big Tril aka Kaiza has been announced as CEO Baboon Forest Entertainment where GNL Zamba will remain the executive director and his first move as CEO, Big Tril will audition new artistes for the record label in a TV show. His vision is to take Baboon Forest to international presence while continuing the label’s dominance in the region both in music and film.
In the Monday meeting Tril expressed admiration for the team at baboon forest and adopted the new mantra “brains and muscle”.
