Moses Ssali a.k.a Bebe Cool has been named Uganda Cranes Ambassador. Following a poll conducted amongst the cranes players, Bebe cool came through as the best choice. Bebe Cool has now joined the list of two other FUFA ambassadors who include Haji Omar Mandela Ahmed and Taban Amin.

The “Nkola Byafayo” singer who is an ardent local football fan will be entrusted with marketing the Uganda Cranes brand in a bid to add more value to it. He will be tasked to help promote the Uganda Cranes brand through both visuals and audio broadcast.

Bebe Cool was announced Cranes Ambassador yesterday during the weekly press conference at the FUFA house in Mengo where the FUFA president Eng Moses Magogo addressed the media. FUFA president also highlighted his achievements and challenges as he marked his first year in office.

“We are in a brand building process, we believe one of Uganda’s most loved and followed Artists will play a key role in taking the Uganda Cranes brand to another level,” said Magogo who heads the FUFA marketing committee.

“We shall continue with the process of getting other ambassadors from different sectors of society”, the president remarked.

Magogo added that the two brands Bebe Cool and Uganda Cranes can benefit from one another. The singer has already kicked off the marketing of the Cranes brand by promoting the forthcoming game between Uganda Cranes and Guinea that is set to be played on 10th September, 2014 at Namboole Stadium at 7.30 pm in Uganda’s second game of the Group E AFCON qualifiers.
