Uganda’s celebrated artiste and Gagamel CEO, Bebe Cool, born Moses Ssali, may be named in next Cabinet if President Museveni wins this year’s elections.

The “Go Mama” hit maker, who has been on President Museveni’s campaign trail wowing crowds with his good music and message of sending President Museveni back to state house, could become minister sooner than you think.

According to sources who preferred anonymity, Bebe Cool will either be given a position in one of these ministries; Youth and Children, Gender, Labour and Social Development or something close to this.

“The man has given more than 100 percent in these campaigns. Today, he has been spotted in Seeta mobilising Youth to support their candidates of choice, stay peaceful and law abiding citizens. He is the only artiste who has been on the NRM campaign trail since day one. Even when several other artistes absconded, he didn’t abandon Mzee,” said the source.

“You see he even didn’t attend awards recently and instead sent his son to pick all his awards because he was with Museveni and couldn’t leave the campaigns. Some have even joked that many people come for rallies just to catch a glimpse of him performing,” the source added.

To Bebe Cool fans, friends and haters, don’t be shocked when the Love You Everyday singer gets a juicy position if his camp – NRM Steady Progress wins the highly anticipated February 18th elections.

This will not be the first time a musician is given an exciting government position. Last year, President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed musician Jaguar, original name Charles Njagua Kanyi, as a board member at the National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), Kenya.

This appointment was to the majority perceived as Uhuru’s appreciation of Jaguar’s faith and dedicated support to the Jubilee coalition; before, during and after the 2013 elections.

Keep here for details.
