Bakri Mat came to the spotlight after releasing 18 and over, a hit song that rocked the airwaves across the country. He thereafter joined Team No Sleep where he teamed with Akay to form a duo.
News reaching our desk indicates that the singer has finally quit the group after missing to be part of the Eastern tour that has been going on organized by the same group. The singer is said to have followed his father’s advice since he still respects him after warning him to leave the group that is associated with bad behaviors including smoking, drinking alcohol among others which are prohibited in their Muslim religion.
However our sources have also confirmed that the singer has already been having some misunderstandings with Akay which accelerated the urge to leave the group. The singer is said to have decided to go solo and will continue giving the best to his fans.
