Local comedian Anne Kansiime, who has performed in various countries across the globe, will finally hold her maiden show in Uganda. Dubbed “I am Kansime,” the show is slated to take place on the 24th of March at Imperial Royale hotel. The show is expected to start at 7 pm and Kansiime will perform for two full hours.
Speaking at a press conference held today, Anne Kansime revealed that proceeds from the concert will go to supporting underprivileged children.
She said, “I am giving back to the people who saw me before I even went to perform abroad. I have been preparing for three years and now it’s the time for the people to have the best of me.”
“We have 30 children under our umbrella foundation, The Kansime Foundation and we are dong this every year so that we can support those children who don’t have the chance to get an education,” she added.
The show will be aired live on NTV and Spark TV for those one who might not make it to the show.
Tickets for the show cost 100K, 3 Million (a gold table for 10) and 5 Million (a platinum table of 10). Tickets are being sold at National Theatre, Shell outlets in Bugolobi, Lugogo, Bukoto and Kampala road, Nakumatt outlets in Bugolobi, Oasis Mall, Bukoto and Naalya.
