Speaking after making the donation, Angella noted that the onus is on us to take care of Mulago Hospital because you never know when you might end up there and further called on the public to support her cause to make the hospital better.

The Mulago Hospital public relations manager, Mr. Enock Kusasira, who was also speaking at the handover ceremony, commended the “Multiply By 2” hit maker for her big heart and revealed that equipment will go a long way in helping take care of the premature babies born at the facility during the neonatal period.

“The Special Care Unit is where we provide care for babies who are born before their due time and these need a lot of care. We really need all the support we can get,” Enock noted.

The ‘Mulago Yaffe’ campaign which was launched in 2014, is geared towards raising awareness and standards of sanitation and health care facilities in Uganda, starting with Mulago National Referral hospital.
