The long wait is finally over! Philanthropist and humanitarian singer Angella Katatumba is set to hold her first ever concert. The “Multiply by 2” hitmaker has announced that she will hold a maiden concert at Kampala Serena Hotel on 1st July this year.
Dubbed “Mulago Yaffe” concert, Angella who has lately been known for her big heart will fuse music and charity as she has revealed that proceeds from the show will go to the Uganda Cancer Institute.
Meanwhile, the concert is named after the “Mulago Yaffe” campaign which has seen Angella make several donations to Mulago Hospital in the past.
In one of her recent donations, through her NGO, the Angella Katatumba Development Foundation, the singer contributed Ugx 10 Million to Mulago Hospital Special Care Unit which was used to purchase a Phototherapy machine and Syringe pump which have helped to reduce neonatal deaths at the health facility.
