Musician Angella Katatumba’s philanthropic work continues to see her rewarded. Just after she was recently invited to the World Humanitarian Summit that will take place in Turkey next month, the “Multiply by 2” singer has now been appointed ambassador of the Uganda Bikers Association.

This comes on the backdrop of the Mulago Yaffe Campaign, which is a charitable cause through her NGO, the Angella Katatumba Development Foundation, geared towards raising awareness and standards of sanitation and health care facilities in Uganda, starting with Mulago National Referral hospital.
While pledging support to the Mulago Yaffe Campaign, Uganda’s Bikers through their association also chose Angella Katatumba to be their Honorary Ambassador.

Meanwhile, the Uganda Bikers association which was formed in 2003, has with strategic partnerships raised funds over the years towards such humanitarian causes including raising HIV/AIDS awareness and donating food items to orphanages among other things.
