Airtel Uganda recently launched a new campaign directed at easing the way Ugandans pay for their utility bills for certain service and goods providers. The Wangula campaign is aimed at encouraging Ugandans to use their Airtel Money function to pay for bills listed as; UMEME, NWSC, DSTV and GoTV.
For three months running, nine lucky Airtel customers will be chosen every week and these stand a chance to have their utility bills being paid for by Airtel for a full year. How does it work? Any customer who makes any UMEME, NWSC, Multi choice (DSTV & GoTV) bill payment using Airtel money within a particular week, automatically enters the weekly draw. Three winners will be chosen per utility section.
Winners will be categorized as follows:
- 3 UMEME winners each winning an annual bills payment for their monthly UMEME bills
- 3 NWSC winners each winning an annual bills payment for their monthly water bills
- 3 Multi choice(DSTV/GoTV) winners each winning an annual premium bouquet
Additionally, All Airtel customers apart from staff, agents, aggregators/Dealers & Merchant accounts qualify for this promotion. This Promotion will run for a period of 3 months starting 19th Feb until 15th May 2014. Draws will be carried out every Friday of the week.

This promotion will be aimed towards rewarding the users of Airtel Money. We shall continue to roll out high end campaigns for our customers.
