The Airtel FUFA awards took place today at Munyonyo Common Wealth Hotel. Top footballers were rewarded at the event with some taking trophies while others went with medals. Check out the full list of winners below.

Category 1; Airtel-FUFA Male Player of the Year: Faruku Miya (Vipers SC, Uganda Cranes)

Category 2: Pepsi-FUFA Female player of the year: Sandra Nabweteme (Kawempe Muslim Secondary School Women FC, Crested Crane)

Category 3: FUFA Best XI: Sebwato, Walulya, Bilikwalira, Wasswa, Malunda, Mutyaba, Mugerwa, Kizito, Kasumba, Miya, Sekisambu.

Category 4:FUFA Presidential Award; Paul Ssali

Category 5: FUFA Fair Play Award; Sports Club Villa Jogo

Category6: FUFA Referee of the Year: Mark Ssonko (FIFA Assistant Referee)

Category 7: FUFA Coach of the year: Faridah Lubega (Gafford Ladies/Wakiso United)

Category 8: FUFA Beach Soccer player of the year: Douglas Muganga (Nkumba Select)

Category 9: Fans’ Favourite player: Tony Mawejje

Category 10: Fans’ Favourite player in European Leagues Andre Ayew
