Chameleone’s Tubonge Album Launch concert powered by Airtel Uganda exploded on Friday night, 28th March at the Lugogo Cricket Oval where thousands of revelers turned out to support Uganda’s leading artist. The concerted that was headlined by performances from Uganda’s top artists such as; Radio and Weasel, Bobi Wine, Irene Namatovu, David Lutalo, Eddie Kenzo, Big Eye, and newlyweds Irene and Irene and Geoffrey Lutaaya kept the attendees on their feet all night.
Many people had earlier on won VIP tickets to attend the show. This had been made possible through Airtel’s online and radio portals where one had to answer a quiz by dialing 15706 and stand a chance to win a ticket to the show.
The concert was filled with lots of activities which saw lucky Airtel customers walk away with large amounts of money and an opportunity to have their utility bills to be paid for a full year. This was during their participation in Airtel’s ongoing Bifuuna Kilalu and Pay Bills campaign. The winners were given a chance to grab as much money as they could.
Chameleone thanked Airtel for its continued support of the music industry and this is what he had to say; “I am grateful that we have companies that support our music industry as Airtel has today shown with the sponsorship of this album launch. We need to support these companies in order to see them grow and also such enables them to give back to our communities.”
