Lingerie model Chanel Iman and rapper A$AP Rocky are now said to be secretly engaged, following a whirlwind romance.
Page Six reports that the 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, recently proposed and that Miss Iman, 23, ‘happily accepted.’
The couple is reportedly eager to keep their engagement a secret for the time being. On Thursday Miss Iman appeared at Montblanc’s 90th anniversary party without an engagement ring on her finger.
Representatives for Miss Iman did not immediately return MailOnline’s request for comment about the engagement reports.
She and A$AP Rocky began dating in early 2013, following the rapper’s split from Australian hip-hop star Iggy Azalea.
Though the majority of their relationship has played out in private, the couple has recently appeared together at notable events including February’s amFar gala in New York.
While only 23, Miss Iman is considered a veteran of the modelling world, having starred on the cover of Vogue and Teen Vogue by the age of 16. She served as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2010 to 2012.
More recently, the Atlanta, Georgia native has turned her attentions towards television appearances and has been spotted on shows including America’s Next Top Model and MTV’s House of Style.
A$AP Rocky is a member of the A$AP Mob – a New York-based rap collective that has been praised for its artistically-inclined musical style.
Rocky’s debut album Long.Live.A$AP was released in 2011 and spawned the chart-topping hits including Peso and F***** Problems.
He is also a noted fashion plate and has appeared in the pages of Vogue and on the runways of blue-chip shows including DKNY and Hood by Air.
